ALLOW DROPBOX TO PROMPT YOU TO BACKUP EXTERNAL DRIVES WHEN PLUGGED IN (WINDOWS)

Follow these steps below to enable Dropbox to ask you if you wish to backup an external drive when initially plugged in.

1. Click on the Dropbox icon in the task bar on the bottom right hand side

2. Select the profile circle on the top right hand side of the Dropbox pop up menu

3. Select Preferences

4. Select Backups

5.  Ensure the option slider 'Ask to backup external drives' is enabled

Exit by clicking on the 'X' on the top right hand side of the pop up box.
